Each year it has been a tradition to hold a neighborly easter egg hunt for all the kids (who easily outnumber the adults 3:1). Last year was a blustery, freezing frenzy of a hunt with the back yards cleared of eggs and families in about 9 minutes flat. But this year was a pleasantly breezy, springy warm kind of morning and the kids lingered in their hunting while grown-ups cheered them on, helped the littler egg hunters on their quests, and socialized with neighbors after a long winter of neighborhood hibernation.
